PACOWWEI  Bayelsa State conducted capacity building training for Female Sex Workers (FSW)

Capacity building training for Female Sex Workers (FSW). 

On 22nd & 23rd September 2020, Passion and Concern for Women Welfare and Empowerment Initiative (PACOWWEI)  Bayelsa State conducted capacity building training for Female Sex Workers (FSW) community members (outreach workers) on HIV self testing.

The training built Participants knowledge and skills on HIV self test, strategies and significance of implementing self testing among FSWs, relevance of self testing awareness and promotion to HIV mitigation, etc.

Participants appreciated the efforts put in place by PACOWWEI and her stakeholders (fhi360, AHNI, USAID, NACA and MOH) being the first CBO to introduce and enhanced self testing in Bayelsa State.
